JAVAD EMS Reaches 10-Year Milestone in 2020
January 27, 2020 | JAVAD EMSEstimated reading time: 3 minutes
JAVAD EMS (JEMS), a leading global EMS company that provides low to medium volume, high-mix applications, announces the company’s 10-year anniversary. JEMS was founded in 2010 and a large majority of employees have been with company since the beginning.
JEMS was founded to focus on low to medium volume, high-mix applications for customers needing prototype through volume production levels and wanting it from one source. Today, the company is a thriving, full-service contract electronics manufacturer providing leading-edge, high-quality products for its customers with applications in the Mil/Aerospace, Medical, Industrial and Networking markets.
Gary Walker, Vice-President at JAVAD EMS stated: “The past 10 years has really gone by fast, and it seems that just a short time ago we started JEMS from scratch. We are very proud of all that we have accomplished over the years, particularly with the ability to not only find new accounts but to retain them, as most of our customers have stayed with us since engaging with them. This is not only a testament to the investment we have made in equipment and manufacturing processes we have put in place, but also to all the employees that have provided unmatched levels of service and support for our valued customers over these past 10 years. Equipment can be bought by anyone with $$ but the service, support and quality that is engrained in our company DNA is what I am most proud of.”
JAVAD EMS prides itself on its quality, from its equipment and processes to its employees and finished products. The team’s QC personnel are trained and certified to IPC A 610 Class 3, and soldering personnel are trained and certified to J-STD 001. IQC personnel are certified to IPC-A-600 standards, and engineering staff are Six Sigma Black Belt, IPC Trainer (CIT, IPC-A-600), and IPC Specialist (CIS, IPC-A-610) certified.
JEMS has more than 40,000 ft.2 manufacturing space in the heart of Silicon Valley, which it has updated to the highest standards of electronic manufacturing services, communication, client support, employee comfort, and training. The company runs numerous surface-mount-technology (SMT) lines complete with inline three-dimensional (3D) solder paste inspection and AOI complimented by fully automated 3D X-ray system for solder joint inspection. These lines are highly flexible, allowing for diverse and complex products using the latest in component packaging technologies to be assembled and with quick changeover between products, enabling high-mix, low to medium volume production.
