Yamaha to Showcase Innovations for Faster, Easier Robot Automation at Hannover Messe 2020
February 20, 2020 | Yamaha Motor Europe Factory AutomationEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Yamaha Motor Europe Factory Automation Section will return to Hannover Messe in 2020, with new SCARA robots, controllers, and vision systems that extend performance and ease integration of industrial robot technology.
Visitors to Yamaha’s booth, G25, Hall 6, can see the latest YK-610XE SCARA robot, which increases payload, reach, and cycle speed at an extremely competitive price. In addition, the latest LCM linear conveyor module will highlight flexible, programmable, ultra-low-maintenance transport that is easy to coordinate with other robots in the same assembly cell.
Yamaha will also present upgrades to the iVY2 robot vision system. iVY2 communicates directly with the RCX340 controller using dedicated robot vision instructions, for unrivalled speed and efficiency, and now adds new functionalities that further enhance productivity and ease of use.
Also at the booth, the powerful new RCX Studio Pro 2020 software makes programming easier and more accessible than ever. The latest tools and features help quickly create setups involving one or more robots to perform complex handling and assembly processes.
A selection of Yamaha SCARA, cartesian, and linear robots will also be in action, and a special PLC-based display will demonstrate integration with conventional industrial programmable logic controllers.
Yamaha specialists from the European office in Neuss will be available throughout the event, April 20-24, at booth G25 Hall 6, to discuss how enterprises can leverage the company’s robot technologies to satisfy challenging process automation requirements.
