These monthly symposiums are positioned at the intersection of Health care and technology and bring members from medical device community, medical professionals, and clinicians together for the dissemination of up-to-the-minute information and technology. MDG Boston's mission is providing a focus on supporting innovation and advances in technology that leads to rapid advancement in health care treatment. Also, MDG Boston provides a community gathering and social environment for a sharing of resources in a friendly, collegial atmosphere where peer-to-peer conversations flourish.
By hosting these series of symposiums, MDG Boston provides a professional gathering, contributing to the continuing development of medical devices and other medical technologies by providing monthly educational forums. Participants garner insight on a number advancements including; Learning about new technology, Learning how clinicians use medical technology, Understanding from a clinician's perspective their unmet technology needs, Learning how new technology applies to their specific jobs, Intra-job-category engagement, and Peer-to-peer application and engagement opportunities.
The Medical Development Group (MDG) is a community of individuals professionally committed to the Medical Device and other Medical Technology Industry segments united by the belief that innovation and advances in technology lead to substantial improvements in health care. MDG pursues this mission through the organization of educational programs and forums: the facilitation of cross-disciplinary dialogue and collaboration; the creation of venues for networking and information sharing for current and aspiring professionals, clinicians, and entrepreneurs; and the development of alliances with complementary organizations.
