Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems continually measures the performance of their suppliers on the basis of extensive criteria, which include quality standards, on-time delivery, process improvements, safety standards, customer service.
This enables not only qualitative and quantitative evaluation of supplier performance, but also recognition and rewards to the top performing suppliers.
In this context, over 300 chosen suppliers were invited to participate to the IDS 10 Year Supplier Excellence Conference held on May 1 and 2 with the theme "One Team: Shaping Our Future”. Conference goal was to highlight the importance of continued collaboration, not only in the execution of Raytheon’s current programs and requirements, but also in paving the way for continued success in the future.
As Raytheon’s trusted PCB supplier, Somacis Inc. has been awarded with the 3-star 2016 Operational Excellence Supplier Award, which is given in recognition of the exemplary performance in helping Raytheon deliver mission assurance to their customers, especially thanks to the 95% on time delivery and 0 defects production.
