Sparton Completes CFIUS Process

Sparton Corp. has announced that on November 20, 2017, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) completed its review process and stated that there are no unresolved national security concerns with respect to the previously announced proposed acquisition of Sparton by Ultra Electronics Holdings plc.
The transaction remains subject to other governmental approvals, including clearance of the transaction under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, as well as other customary closing conditions.
