HANZA Proposes Company Name Change
April 18, 2022 | HANZAEstimated reading time: 1 minute
HANZA Holding AB (publ) proposes to the Annual General Meeting to change the company name to HANZA AB (publ). The name change is a step in an ongoing process to further strengthen communication with the company's stakeholders. In addition, the company has also launched a new website and a new graphic profile.
The Group's parent company, whose share is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm, is currently called HANZA Holding AB. For historical reasons, the parent company owns 100% of a limited company, HANZA AB, which was the original parent company in the group.
The Board of Directors now proposes to the Annual General Meeting on May 10, 2022, to adopt an adjustment of the Articles of Association that the parent company changes its name to HANZA AB (publ). In connection with the name change of HANZA Holding AB (publ), the subsidiary HANZA AB will also be renamed.
The proposal does not involve any change in the company's offer or operations, and shareholders do not need to take any action. After a name change, the share will continue to be traded on Nasdaq Stockholm's Small Cap segment with unchanged short name (HANZA) and ISIN code (SE0005878543).
"HANZA is growing rapidly, and one reason is a successful effort to make our unique manufacturing model visible. Our new website is a further step in this process," says Erik Stenfors, CEO of HANZA. "We have also developed our corporate identity over the past year with an updated logo and a new graphic profile.”
