FCCL Maker Taiflex Reports 10% Revenue Growth in August

Taiwan-based Taiflex Scientific Co. Ltd, a provider of flexible copper-clad laminate (FCCL) for the flexible printed circuit industry, has announced consolidated revenues of NT$841 million ($26.9 million) for August 2016, up by 10% from the previous month, but down by 17.5% year-on-year.
Revenues for the Electronic Materials unit achieved a record high NT$654 million ($20.94 million), up by 4.5% month-on-month. The Energy Material division, meanwhile, posted total sales of NT$189 million ($6.05 million), up by 37.3% MoM.
Year-to-date revenues totaled NT$6.51 billion ($208.5 million), up by 2.8% YoY.
