European Business Development Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive and lead sales and business development efforts for all FCT services: flexible circuits, rigid flex, membrane switches, catheters, plastics, and electronic manufacturing services (FPCAs, PCBAs, subassemblies, and full product assemblies).
  • Commercial lead for developing relationships with FCT’s existing customers, escalating when needed.
  • Develop and manage indirect representatives (as appropriate).
  • Serve as the primary contact for reporting purposes regarding quote activity, financial performance, and all other requirements as needed.
  • Present and discuss quote opportunities of strategic significance with FCT management and engineering team.
  • Collaborate with FCT marketing team and EVP BD to develop, implement, and drive business development strategy in Europe.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows representing FCT and travel to plants in Asia as appropriate.
  • Enhance and cultivate FCT's company culture (positive, productive, fair, FUN).

Qualifications:

  • College degree, technical or engineering degree ideal
  • Must have 7–10 years of progressive experience selling flexible circuits and/or EMS solutions
  • Experience closing multimillion-dollar programs
  • Experience managing independent reps a plus
  • Experience selling for manufacturing based in Asia a plus
  • A team player with the ability to operate in a matrixed organization
