ACE Promotes Kevin Valentine to National Sales Manager

ACE Production Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of selective soldering and lead tinning systems, announces the appointment of Kevin Valentine as the company’s National Sales Manager. Kevin has been with the company for 10 years and has previously served in a variety of key support functions including Field Service Engineer and Field Service Manager.
In his new role Kevin will be responsible for all domestic sales and customer relations activities, with all US manufacturer’s representatives and field service personnel reporting directly to him.
“Kevin comes to ACE with more than 25 years of experience in SMT and through-hole assembly, the last 10 years with ACE coordinating machine installations, software upgrades and field service operations,” said Alan Cable President of ACE Production Technologies. “Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and valuable experience to his new domestic sales managerial position and will be a significant asset to our dedicated team of outstanding employees at ACE Production Technologies.”
Cable further added, “Kevin was the obvious choice for the National Sales Manager position since he has worked closely with our growing list of satisfied customers and manufacturer’s representatives while at the same time coordinating our ongoing field service activities. Instead of discrete leads, BGAs rely on solder balls on the underside of the package to connect to the PCB. In some advanced designs, solder balls are on both the PCB and the BGA package. In stacked configurations, such as package-on-package (PoP), these solder balls also interconnect multiple packages, enabling higher functionality in a smaller footprint.
