Although modern aqueous alkaline cleaning agents effectively remove flux residues, achieving satisfactory results often requires an increase in temperature, exposure time, chemical concentration, and mechanical energy resulting in material compatibility issues. This webinar presents data from three case studies detailing how newly developed pH neutral formulations have proven to be capable of removing difficult post reflow residues from complex board geometries without affecting material compatibility of sensitive components.
