Uniflex to Turn Profitable in Q3 2018 on Strong FPCB Shipments

Taiwan PCB maker Uniflex Technology expects to swing to profits in the third quarter of 2018 thanks to growing revenues from flexible PCBs seen after entering the supply chains of Korea-based smartphone vendors in the year with strong shipment momentum, Digitimes reports.
Uniflex CEO Y.C. Lee pointed out that the company supplies NFC (near-field communication) FPCBs to smartphone vendors in the non-Apple camp and has built a solid position in the market for smartphone wireless charging FPCBs.
