Drill Bit Maker Topoint Optimistic About 3Q 2019

PCB drill bit maker Topoint Technology has seen orders for 5G base station equipment start generating revenues, and expressed optimism about its performance in the third quarter of 2019.
Topoint started shipping high-speed and high-frequency products for 5G related applications in the second quarter, while capacity utilization rates for its bit drilling and hole drilling services ramp up substantially on quarter, the company indicated.
Seasonality will boost further Topoint's overall capacity utilization rate in the third quarter, said the company, adding that handsets and networking products remain the largest target market of Topoint.
