Royal Flex Circuits has received the AS9100:2016 (RevD) and ISO9001:2015 certifications. Both certifications were awarded after an extensive audit conducted by Performance Review Institute, the global authority in administering special process accreditation programs.
AS9100:2016 (RevD) is the quality standard for organizations that design and manufacture products for the Aerospace industry, including parts, components and assemblies. Developed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG), AS9100:2016 (RevD) provides quality management system requirements and indicates that a company is dedicated to improved quality, cost, delivery and performance. The standard includes ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements as well as specific aviation, space and defense industry requirements.
“AS9100:2016 (RevD) is a new certification and we are so proud to be one of the first companies to achieve it,” said Scott Kohno, President of Royal Flex Circuits. “As an AS9100 (RevD) and ISO 9001:2016 manufacturer, customers now have third-party validation of our commitment to providing the highest quality products and services. It proves we have the systems in place to deliver quality flex and rigid-flex circuit boards, as well as a continual improvement process that will help us identify and eliminate problems in the future.”
Royal Flex Circuits is a rigid, rigid-flex & flexible printed circuits manufacturer dedicated to furthering excellence in the printed circuit board industry. “With the required quality systems and processes now in place, our customers will have peace-of-mind knowing Royal Flex is the clear choice when it comes to meeting the Aerospace, Aviation and Defense organization’s needs,” explained Larry Ybarra, Quality Assurance Manager at Royal Flex Circuits.
