Vexos Inc. has opened a manufacturing facility in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Vietnam facility increases Vexos' global footprint to five manufacturing locations and will meet our growing demand to support existing and new customers. The Vietnam facility will complement Vexos’ existing facilities in the US, Canada and China.
“We believe this new manufacturing facility in Vietnam will significantly increase our operational Asian footprint and provide further options and benefits to our existing and new customers to improve their supply chain strategies.” said Paul Jona, president and CEO of Vexos. “By further diversifying our global manufacturing footprint, particularly in Vietnam, we believe this will provide an additional lower cost solution for electronic manufacturing. We have invested in brand-new leading-edge manufacturing, assembly and test equipment, which complements the capabilities and services offered by our four existing manufacturing facilities and helps support continuing growth and demand for our existing customer base as well as new customer wins.”
The new 31,000 square foot manufacturing facility is located within a government sponsored export zone and is within 5 miles of an international port. The Vietnam facility offers the same level of award-winning operational excellence that our existing EMS facilities provide to our global OEM customers in the industrial internet of things (IIoT), energy, communications, medical, industrial and automotive markets. The new facility is expected to be fully operational by mid Q2 2019.
