OSI Systems Receives $12 Million Order for Cargo and Vehicle Inspection Systems

OSI Systems, Inc. has announced that its Security division received an order for approximately $12 million from an international customer to provide multiple units of its X-ray cargo and vehicle inspection systems, including the Z Portal®, a high-throughput, drive-through inspection system to inspect trucks and cargo, and the ZBV® mobile inspection system, which can be rapidly deployed to provide flexibility in relocating security checkpoints.
The Company will also provide follow-on maintenance service and support for these products.
OSI Systems’ Chairman and CEO, Deepak Chopra, commented, “We are pleased with this order and look forward to supporting this long-standing customer’s security infrastructure enhancements.”
