Zollner Elektronik AG Spreads the Wonder of Christmas with Donation Campaigns
December 28, 2023 | Zollner Elektronik AGEstimated reading time: 1 minute
The holidays have begun under the banner of social engagement for Zollner Elektronik AG. This year, again, numerous employees actively took part in various Christmas initiatives together with company management to support the needy both materially and financially and breathe a breath of joy into the hearts of those who need it most.
Christmas Truckers – numerous packages for Southeastern Europe and Germany
This year, too, the Johanniter-Christmas-Truckers from Traitsching collected packages from everywhere in the Cham Rural District to bring a bit of Christmas joy to distressed people in Germany and Southeastern Europe. There the most basic things are missing, therefore every package consists of food, hygiene items and small gifts for the children. Finally, the Christmas-Truckers came again to Zandt in their truck to pick up the donated boxes from the Zollner team for their aid campaign.
Giving Children in Need a Future
Another highlight this year is again the Sternstunden donation campaign put on by Bavarian television, from which regional child aid projects are actively supported. The donation willingness of our employees for the pre-Christmas Zollner Sternstunden campaign went without interruption over the past four years so more than 50,000 € was already brought together for families and children in need. This year, too, the Zollner team diligently filled the Sternstunden account with donations of more than 10.000 € to conjure a smile in the faces of children for whom life is not easy and bring a sparkle into a child’s eyes.
Ludwig Zollner, Spokesman of the Managing Board, expressed his content with the broad support for the pre-Christmas donation campaigns and emphasized the significance of solidarity and compassion. “It fills me with joy to see how our Zollner team helps together to stand at the side of others experiencing hard times and, especially during the holiday season of the year, to campaign for those who are dependent on support. Christmas time should be a time of joy and togetherness, and these campaigns contribute to the achievement of that goal. My heartfelt thanks to every individual for their commitment and participation in these initiatives.”

It’s Only Common Sense: ‘A Christmas Carol’ Lesson
12/20/2021 | Dan Beaulieu -- Column: It's Only Common SenseCharles Dickens’ "A Christmas Carol" is one of the best and most original business books you can read. It’s full of valuable lessons that apply to all facets of business, even today, more than 180 years after it was written. This time of the year you can watch any version you like, from the 1938 Reginal Owen version to the 1951 Alastair Sim version to Disney, the Muppets and Mr. Magoo. Even Bill Murray has his own version. Given that, I’ll go on the assumption you know the story. Except you’ve probably never thought about it as a business story.
