Red Sky Lighting, a leading manufacturer of LED lighting for industrial applications, proudly announces that its High Bay Hot Series has received a UL Verification (V-Mark) for 10,000 Hours projected lumen maintenance at an ambient temperature of 176°F (80°C). This distinction makes it the first product worldwide to attain such recognition under the same conditions.
The High Bay Hot Series from Red Sky Lighting has reached a significant milestone by successfully completing rigorous testing conducted by UL. It has demonstrated an impressive ability to maintain up to 95.9% of its initial lumens after 10,000 hours of continuous operation at an ambient temperature of 176°F (80°C). This achievement sets a new standard of performance within the industry.
Furthermore, the test results show that the High Bay Hot Series can maintain at least 70% of its initial lumen output after 47,000 to 50,000 hours of continuous operation at 176°F (80°C) ambient, equivalent to over five years of lifetime at 24/7 operation or over ten years at 12 hours/day. As a testament to its durability, Red Sky Lighting confidently offers a five-year, no-compromise warranty that covers the entire system, including the LEDs, driver, housing, and gaskets.
"We're proud to be the first company certified by UL Solutions for up to 95.9% lumen maintenance of an industrial luminaire operating continuously at 176°F for 10,000 hours," said Naren Pillai, Managing Director of Red Sky Lighting. "This verification assures our customers that the High Bay Hot Series delivers the reliable, energy-efficient lighting needed for their most demanding harsh locations and process applications."
Red Sky Lighting remains committed to pushing the boundaries of high-temperature LED performance through rigorous product testing and certification. The UL V-Mark certification objectively verifies that the company's High Bay Hot Series meets the most stringent industry standards for harsh location lighting.
In addition to its remarkable lumen maintenance at high temperatures, the lighting series boasts rugged construction, including a heavy-duty anodized aluminum housing that provides excellent anti-corrosion properties, ensuring durability even in the harshest conditions. The innovative vertical flow cooling fin design and driver box enable the fixture to perform flawlessly in extreme heat environments, such as die-cast facilities, foundries, iron forges, steel mills, power generation plants, and chemical plants.
