On July 4—Independence Day in the United States—the U.S.-based I-Connect007 offices are closed in observance of the holiday.
The history of the 13 British-American colonies’ transition from commercial colonies to an independent nation often gives me reason to ponder. This year, I’m struck by the uncertainty in stepping out, taking a risk, challenging the established order, and doing something truly innovative, unsure whether it will even work. The courage to try, to choose as a community to innovate, strikes a chord this year.
Whether you, dear reader, are celebrating this very American holiday or not, the I-Connect007 staff celebrates your technological innovation and risk-taking. Look for us to be back in our offices tomorrow.
