Current IssueVoices of the Industry
We take the pulse of the PCB industry by sharing insights from leading fabricators and suppliers in this month's issue. We've gathered their thoughts on the new U.S. administration, spending, the war in Ukraine, and their most pressing needs. It’s an eye-opening and enlightening look behind the curtain.
The Essential Guide to Surface Finishes
We go back to basics this month with a recount of a little history, and look forward to addressing the many challenges that high density, high frequency, adhesion, SI, and corrosion concerns for harsh environments bring to the fore. We compare and contrast surface finishes by type and application, take a hard look at the many iterations of gold plating, and address palladium as a surface finish.

Miraco Now Certified to ISO 9001:2015
September 12, 2017 | Miraco Inc.Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Miraco Inc. is now officially certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Certificate: C2015-02071-R2). Both Miraco South (Tijuana, Mexico) and Miraco North (Manchester, New Hampshire) facilities were part of the one-and-a-half-day in-depth onsite audits, which evaluated Miraco's QMS against the new ISO standard. Documentation was analyzed, employees were questioned, and processes were verified. After the dust settled, Miraco was found to have a robust system which was implemented, effective, and in accordance with the ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
"Excited? Yes. Surprised? No. Since the day we decided to take this step forward, we committed to ourselves and to our customers that this was and would always be an all-hands on-going effort. Evidence of this can be seen from Miraco's top down commitment. We believe there is only one way to properly run a company; the right way. We do not believe in shortcuts or less than 100 percent effort. I want to thank all Miraco employees for embracing the Miraco 'customer first' mindset," says David Bouley, president of Miraco.
Miraco views this new certification as just another addition to an already strong foundation, which enables Miraco to offer quality products and engineering solutions to its customers.
