CACI International Inc announced today that it has been awarded a task order with a ceiling value of $122 million by the General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) to develop advanced electronic communications systems in support of the Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) division of the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). The five-year Crisis Response and Interoperable Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Electronic Systems (CRIC-ES) task order was awarded under the GSA’s OASIS contract vehicle and represents continuing work for CACI in its Communications market.
Under the task order, CACI will provide full lifecycle development – including rapid prototyping, fabrication, fielding, and maintenance – of interoperable systems and solutions to facilitate communications and knowledge transfer among DoD and other federal, state, and local agencies during crisis and emergency events worldwide. The scope of work includes supporting legacy, current, and next-generation CRIC-ES products, such as emergency management response systems, public safety networks, enterprise land mobile radios, and agency interoperable communications, including UHF, VHF, satellite, audiovisual, and radio systems.
Ken Asbury, CACI’s President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “During times of crisis, ensuring communications among diverse groups of responders is frequently a matter of life and death. CACI has long supported the fast pace of global emergency missions with innovative engineering, rapid prototyping, and timely delivery of high-quality advanced communications systems.”
