Enics Eesti Recognized for Sustainability Efforts
July 31, 2019 | EnicsEstimated reading time: 1 minute
Enics Eesti AS received a Sustainable Entrepreneurship certificate and silver level quality label in the Estonian Sustainable Business Index. This is the third time that Enics Eesti has been recognized, this time raising the level to silver while being only three points away from reaching the highest level.
The silver level quality label indicates that sustainable action is embedded in the core business of the company; the company is consciously responsible, demonstrates initiative, has a systematical approach and consistency to ensure responsible behavior. In previous years, Enics Eesti has been awarded with the bronze level quality label.
“I am proud that Enics Eesti is continuing on the path of sustainability. We received the highest results in the areas of the outstanding employer and market environment. This means that our activities of increasing employee flexibility, promotion on health and sports among employees, and constantly collaborating with our local community and educational institutions are making the difference. We truly value people and want to be the best place to work,” said Eveli Punnison, HR manager at Enics Eesti.
The quality label is attributed to companies participating in the Estonian Responsible Entrepreneurship Index that place great importance on the company’s sustainable development and who are consistently making diverse efforts to increase the positive impact on the surrounding environment.
