Murata Receives Gold Rating in EcoVadis Sustainability Assessment for 3 Consecutive Years

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has received a certified “Gold” rating in the sustainability assessment by the French company EcoVadis. Murata has received this “Gold” rating for 3 consecutive years since 2022.
EcoVadis was founded in 2007 as an international certification agency for corporate sustainability and social responsibility in order to advance the sustainability of global supply chains. EcoVadis evaluates corporate activities in the four categories “Environment,” “Labor and Human Rights,” “Ethics,” and “Sustainable Procurement.” The top 5% among all companies they assessed receive a “Gold” rating. As a highly reliable third-party evaluator, and amid the increasing importance of sustainability efforts, EcoVadis’ assessment results are taken into account by many businesses when choosing suppliers and customers.
Murata will continue to strive for improvements in terms of sustainability and its corporate value while fostering relationships with all stakeholders. We will continue to pursue innovations leading to new value creation and contributing to society through the provision of cutting-edge innovative products and technologies.
