Elcoteq Names CFO
June 28, 2007 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
HELSINKI, Finland Mikko Puolakka will assume the chief financial officer (CFO) post at Elcoteq SE in August, according to AFX News reports. Current CFO Teo Ottola will leave the company to pursue a similar role at Konecranes, a crane and lift services business based in Hyvinkää, Finland.
Puolakka has served at Elcoteq since 2001. The manufacturing business reorganized operations earlier in 2007 to broaden EMS offerings after reviewing weak operating incomes due to problems at its Mexico facilities. It now performs integrated electronics manufacturing services (IEMS). Changes include adding merger and acquisition (M&A) arrangements, collaborating with other companies, and intensifying offerings.
