Staktek Holdings Announces Initial Public Offering

Austin, Texas — Staktek Holdings Inc, announces the initial public offering of 10 million shares of its common stock priced at $13 per share.
Shares of Staktek began trading on the NASDAQ National Market under the trading symbol "STAK" on February 6, 2004. Staktek has granted the underwriters the right to purchase up to an additional 1.5 million shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. The managing underwriters of the offering are Morgan Stanley, acting as sole book-runner and co-lead manager; Merrill Lynch & Co., acting as co-lead manager; and Thomas Weisel Partners LLC and Wachovia Securities, acting as co-managers.
Staktek is a provider of proprietary, high-density memory stacking solutions for original equipment manufacturers, silicon manufacturers, memory module manufacturers and contract manufacturers.
