Mort Topfer Joins Staktek Board of Directors

Austin, Texas — Staktek Holdings Inc. announces that Mort Topfer will join its Board of Directors.
Topfer is a co-founder and managing director of Castletop Capital. Before establishing the company, Topfer was with Dell Computer Corp. from 1994 to 2002 where he served as vice chairman, and where he currently holds a directorship on Dell's Board. Prior to his tenure at Dell, Topfer spent 23 years with Motorola, where he held several executive positions spanning the full range of Motorola's global business. Prior to that, he spent 11 years at RCA Laboratories in various research and development and management positions, during which time he wrote a book on thick-film electronics. In 1996, Topfer was conferred the Darjah Johan Negeri Penang State Award by the Governor of Penang for his contributions to the development of the electronics industry in Malaysia.
