August 11, 2003 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Stratham, N.H. — Vitronics Soltec announces the shipment and delivery of its 1,000th XPM Series convection reflow soldering system.
The system was sold to Samsung Electronics. The shipment of the 1,000th XPM, incidentally, follows the shipment of the 1,000th Delta Wave wavesoldering system earlier this year. The XPM solder reflow system evolved from the Unitherm convection reflow system developed in 1991. Vitronics Soltec's XPM Series reflow soldering systems are said to offer advanced process control and reconfigurability, Vitronics Soltec's advanced Polar Cooling technology, and clean-system flux flow control, as well as low nitrogen consumption.Vitronics Soltec has shipped thousands of convection solder reflow systems to facilities around the globe during its history, with the total number of reflow system approaching 10,000. The majority of XPM reflow machines produced are currently exported to Asia from the U.S.For more information on Vitronics Soltec, visit www.vitronics-soltec.com.
