Jim Bernhard Joins Ovation Products
January 27, 2003 |Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Bethlehem, Pa. -- Jim Bernhard has joined Ovation Products as vice president of sales and market development in order to expand the company's market presence for the company's line of Grid-Lok compliant tooling products.
Bernhard will coordinate a worldwide sales effort to market the product through sales representative and OEM channels. He comes to Ovation from EKRA, a manufacturer of screen printers for the electronics industry, where as an original founder of EKRA America, he served as vice president of sales and customer support for their North and South American operations since its inception in 1999, helping to dramatically increase the company's market share over that period.
Bernhard brings to the position more than 14 years of electronics assembly experience. Prior to EKRA, he was managing partner of Precision Automation Associates and also held key positions with MPM and Lockheed Martin. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Boston University.
In addition, Ovation has hired Chris Fletcher as a senior sales engineer to help facilitate the rapidly growing demand for Grid-Lok products. Prior to Ovation, Fletcher served in strategic support and marketing roles for Universal Instruments for more than eight years. He holds a BS in mechanical engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Ovation Products, a division of Airline Hydraulics, manufactures a complete line of automatic compliant tooling solutions for electronics assembly. For more information, visit www.grid-lok.com.
