New DEK Manufacturing Facility in Asia Addresses Shortening Leadtime Requirements
December 6, 2002 |Estimated reading time: Less than a minute
Singapore -- In response to the growing demand for adhesive printing stencils, DEK has implemented new manufacturing facilities here to improve delivery times to its growing Asian customer base.
With new, custom-designed PumpPrint stencil manufacturing facilities, DEK reportedly has increased leadtimes by as much as 100 percent
This development for Asian customers follows the announcement in May 2001 in which DEK was named as the global licensee for innovative technology that enables adhesive printing with plastic stencils. Under the agreement with patent owner Novatec and former licensee Loctite, DEK has taken over Loctite's manufacturing cell in Ireland and will continue to support all existing Loctite Varidot customers.
