Northrop Grumman Highlights Innovative Technologies that Advance Health IT at HIMSS Annual Conference

Northrop Grumman Corporation will feature innovative technologies and systems that advance the future of health at the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2016 Annual Conference and Exposition.
HIMSS will be held Feb. 29 – March 4 at the Sands Expo Center, Las Vegas. Northrop Grumman's demonstrations in booth #2429 will focus on the theme of "Improving Healthcare, Health Security and Health Outcomes" and include the company's programs in domain areas such as benefits systems administration, fraud prevention, payment modernization, public health and personalized healthcare.

Under its mission to improve healthcare, Northrop Grumman will demonstrate a payment modernization solution that processes and analyzes claims data to help payers improve provider quality and cost performance. The company will also present a provider screening solution that delivers fraud reduction and compliance support from intake management to adjudication. This demonstration will also simulate the onsite screening process, specifically the ease of capturing information, fingerprints and documents digitally.
In support of improving health security, Northrop Grumman will detail emerging healthcare fraud schemes and trends, as well as insights for payers into preparing to meet future fraud challenges. The company will also feature its significant cyber capabilities that address privacy and security challenges within the federal healthcare space and defend against cyber criminals. Northrop Grumman's approach enables layered security and enhances data protection efforts to create defense in depth information assurance at a level above the industry's current practices.
Northrop Grumman will address the fundamental need to improve health outcomes by showcasing its cloud-based health platform that integrates and performs analytics on clinical and genomics data for personalized health risk predictions. The company will also provide an analysis of CDC Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data and clinical/medical records to demonstrate how public health and community factors can be used to predict clinical conditions and health risks.
