Boeing, CDB Leasing Celebrate Delivery of First Next-Generation 737

Boeing and China Development Bank Financial Leasing Co., Ltd.(CDB Leasing) today celebrated the delivery of the first Next-Generation 737 from the lessor's order book to China Eastern Airlines. It marks the first of 30 Boeing 737NG CDB Leasing has on order.
"We are delighted to take delivery of CDB Leasing's first directly purchased Boeing airplane," said Wang Xuedong, Chairman, CDB Leasing. "Our commitment to our customers is to provide them with the most efficient and reliable products and the 737 family of airplanes clearly delivers on that promise."
The Next-Generation 737-800 delivered to China Eastern Airlines features the airlines' refreshed interior and the signature elements of Boeing's innovative Sky Interior with modern sculpted sidewalls and window reveals, larger pivoting overhead stowage bins and LED lighting that enhances the sense of spaciousness.

Based in Shenzhen, CDB Leasing operates as a subsidiary of China Development Bank. With registered capital of 9.5 billion yuan and a fleet at the end of 2015 of 191 aircraft, CDB Leasing is one of the largest and most influential financial leasing companies in China with more than 30 years of experience in the business.
