European Circuits has been shortlisted for the Dunbartonshire Chamber Business of the Year at the Working4Business Awards 2018.
The award ceremony celebrates the success and achievements of West Dunbartonshire businesses. The winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Dinner held at Clydebank Town Hall, on Friday 27 April 2018.
This is a proud moment in the company’s history. Marketing and Business Development Manager Neil Johnston explains why making the final three for this prestigious award means a lot to the business and the reason why, he believes, the company is in contention.
“We are absolutely delighted to make the final selection for Chamber Business of the Year. To reach the final three is brilliant and it is a nod to the excellent work from all our staff this past year. 2017/18 has been a whirlwind of activity here at European Circuits," said Johnston. "Some of the highlights include the company's branching out and exhibiting at seven exhibitions in five countries this calendar year, representing West Dunbartonshire businesses across Europe. The business invested in new equipment, including a brand new SMT machine which has significantly increased the company’s service capability helping to produce literally hundreds of new and existing electronics products for customers in a vast array of markets."
"The variety of our client base is staggering," Johnston added. "The company is at the cutting edge of markets such as The Internet of Things, robotics, wearables, AI, sensors, military/aerospace, medical (including robotic prosthetics), oil and gas, broadcast and audio (studio microphones used by the likes of Justin Bieber), lighting, control and monitoring, utilities, security, Formula One (tyre pressure monitoring), and subsea. Finally, in conjunction with both marketing and equipment investment, the company also achieved significant gains in terms of accreditation and training of staff. We can’t wait for the night to come and look forward to sharing the night with all the other great businesses in West Dunbartonshire.”
