“Davina’s knowledge and experience in the electronics assembly industry, in addition to her great communications skills, made her the perfect candidate for this position. She is driven and passionate about her work, and we are very pleased to have her on board,” said François Monette, chief sales and marketing officer at Cogiscan.
Davina spent most of her career in the electronics manufacturing industry working in account management, business development, communication and marketing. She has a deep understanding of what the manufacturers’ challenges are and as well as the customers’ expectations. She spent the last nine years at Saline Lectronics where she helped the company position itself as an industry leader within electronics manufacturing for medical, military/aerospace, telematics and new energy clients.
“I am absolutely thrilled to join the Cogiscan team. As an original Industry 4.0 leader within electronics manufacturing, Cogiscan’s product offerings have had a dramatic impact on how to successfully integrate the proper tools for a smart factory solution. I am eager to contribute to Cogiscan’s exciting future. More personally, I simply love Cogiscan’s innovative and collaborative culture and work approach,” Davina added.
With a BA in Communication Studies and a background in journalism, McDonnell thoroughly enjoys working with different types of people and can adapt to any client situation, communicating well with buyers, engineers and CEOs. With a front seat to the transformative power of M2M communication and the IoT revolution, Davina is truly excited about contributing to the exponential positive change within electronics manufacturing.
