Tempo Automation’s San Francisco-based automated factory is now ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified. ISO 9001:2015 certification recognizes the company’s quality management system, including its production and testing processes, following rigorous manufacturing and quality process audits. AS9100D certification is a standardized quality management and quality assurance system developed for the specialized requirements of the aviation, space and defense industries, and is a requirement for supplying many of the companies in those segments. Tempo Automation develops proprietary factory automation software and deploys it in its own state-of-the-art printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) plant, enabling leading companies in the aerospace, medical technology, and automotive industries to prototype and bring new products to market more quickly.
“Our biggest customer segment is the aerospace industry. Leading innovators in this space have come to us not only for the fastest, highest quality PCBA prototyping, but also for small-lot manufacturing. For those customers, seeking printed circuit board assemblies for building aircraft, space launch vehicles, satellites, and other aerospace systems, AS9100D certification is a necessary requirement,” said Brady O. Bruce, vice president of marketing, Tempo Automation.
“These certifications are the result of our dedication to quality. Our high standards are just one reason that customers in the aerospace, medical technology, automotive, and other rapidly innovating industries choose Tempo Automation. Our unbroken digital thread is what makes it possible. From design, through all the processes on our automated factory floor, to delivery, our proprietary automation software allows us to provide all of our customers the fastest turn time, with the highest levels of quality, predictability, and transparency. We routinely quote, build, ship and have boards in customers’ hands before our competitors can even begin production.”
ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certification represents third-party validation of Tempo Automation’s quality management system. Tempo’s software-driven, automated PCB assembly factory drastically reduces time from design to delivery with the highest quality, enabling leading technology companies to innovate rapidly and bring new products to market quickly.
