Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) has been recognized as the “Most Honored Company” with Chairman and CEO Young Liu and Chief Financial Officer David Huang top ranked in Institutional Investor’s 2023 All-Asia Executive Team.
Foxconn was shortlisted in seven categories in this year’s awards results from Institutional Investor (II), achieving buy- and sell-side combined rankings of No 1 for Best CEO, Best CFO, Best IR Team and Best IR Professional; and No 2 combined rankings for Best Board of Directors, Best ESG and Best IR Program.
“We could not have achieved this without the support of our investors. Foxconn will continue to optimize our operations and investor relations practices,” said Foxconn Chairman and CEO Young Liu.
“It is the greatest honor to receive recognition from global financial experts, and we are especially thankful for all investors’ acknowledgement towards Foxconn's management strategy. Based on strict investment principles, Foxconn will continue to stay financially healthy and maximize the return on shareholder equity,” said Foxconn CFO David Huang.
The bellwether awards from II are the result of surveys conducted by II Research, recognized as the leading provider of independent, qualitative feedback, for all three sides of the investment community, with portfolio managers and sell-side researchers naming the best corporate leaders and investor-relations professionals. The results in the All-Asia Executive Team are ex-China and ex-Japan. This year’s Asia Executive Team survey reflects the opinions from a record number of 5,660 buy-side individuals and 814 sell-side analysts.
Foxconn’s ESG efforts are led by Chairman Liu and overseen by Foxconn Spokesperson James Wu. The E, S and G are led by the Group’s Chief Environment Officer Ron Horng, Chief Human Resources Officer Emily Hsia and Chief Audit Executive Galatea Chao.
Foxconn’s IR team, led by James Wu, comprises of Nick Huang, Kristen Fang and Harriet Chen, who was recognized as the Best IR Professional in the technology hardware category in the All-Asia Executive Team.
