Since entering the PCB manufacturing market 10 years ago, PCBWay has been committed to delivering high-quality solutions. As they celebrate their anniversary which started July 1st, they are excited to offer special promotions and gifts, which can be claimed directly on their anniversary page.
Starting in 2014, PCBWay has provided PCB manufacturing services. In 2015, they expanded their offerings to include custom certifications, significantly broadening market reach and services, ultimately serving their first 10,000 customers. Additionally, they introduced system assembly services, providing a one-stop solution for their clients. Streamlined Operations - Producing and assembling PCBs within the same company simplifies logistics and reduces production times. This eliminates the need for coordination between multiple companies, ensuring a more efficient process from start to finish.
In 2016, PCBWay introduced X-Ray inspection and In-Circuit Testing (ICT), enhancing the quality control of PCB production and assembly processes. This year also saw them achieve ISO9001, ISO13485, and IATF16949 certifications. Enhanced Quality Assurance - Advanced inspection techniques and industry certifications ensure high-quality production standards, meeting the stringent requirements of clients, particularly in the medical and high-tech industries.
In 2017, PCBWay expanded its production capacity to 18,000 square meters and started offering services in Spanish and Japanese, breaking down language barriers. Global Reach - Expanding language support in Spanish and Japanese allows them to serve a broader international market, making our services accessible to more clients around the world.
2018 marked another expansion with the opening of a local support office in France to better serve the European market. Localized Support - Local office in France enables quicker resolution of technical issues and provides timely assistance, enhancing customer satisfaction within the European market.
In 2019, PCBWay introduced Flexible PCBs (FPC) and Rigid-Flex Boards, further extending the range of PCB solutions available to clients. Innovative Solutions - The introduction of rigid-flex boards offers compact and efficient solutions for complex designs, minimizing the need for connectors and ensuring high performance.
In 2020, PCBWay launched 3D printing and CNC services. Comprehensive Manufacturing - 3D printing and CNC services enable clients to create complete products, including electronic components and enclosures, streamlining the prototyping and production process.
In 2021, PCBWay invested in digitization, transforming their production line into a smart manufacturing system. Real-Time Monitoring - Clients can now monitor their PCB production in real-time, providing transparency and control over the manufacturing process, leading to higher product quality and customer satisfaction.
Starting in 2023, PCBWay actively participated in major trade shows such as Embedded World (Germany), Electronica (Germany), and Open Sauce (USA – CA). Industry Engagement - Participation in international trade shows allows them to connect with a wider audience, showcasing capabilities and strengthening presence in the global market.
In 2024, PCBWay has expanded to 200 countries, serving 700,000 customers with an 80,000-square-meter production facility capable of handling 3,000 orders daily. Expansive Growth - Their extensive growth and increased production capacity demonstrate a commitment to meeting the needs of a rapidly expanding customer base, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional service.

Unlocking the Promise of AI in Electronics Manufacturing
10/29/2025 | Shobhit Agrawal, Keysight TechnologiesThe electronics manufacturing industry is rapidly evolving as more complicated products are introduced in the production lines, which require technological advancements even in the production processes. The requirements for production that is efficient, product quality that is greater, and product life cycles that are shorter are more crucial than ever before. In the electronic device life cycle, from design to maintenance, test phases have a significant impact on the economy of the company. Test processes are closely linked to the production volume and impacted by the complexity of the product. For businesses to maintain their competitive edge, they need to adopt innovative solutions and redefine processes.
Driving Innovation: Mechanical and Optical Processes During Rigid-flex Production
10/28/2025 | Kurt Palmer -- Column: Driving InnovationRigid-flex printed circuit boards are a highly effective solution for placing complex circuitry in tight, three-dimensional spaces. They are now indispensable across a range of industries, from medical devices and aerospace to advanced consumer electronics, helping designers make the most efficient use of available space.
