Kimball Electronics Mexico (KEMX) recently donated a shade net to the CAIC Nuevo Amanecer Preschool in the local community.
The preschool, which serves over 32 young children, previously held its sports classes outdoors under harsh sun conditions. Recognizing the need for a shaded area, KEMX employee Leonel O. brought the issue to the company's attention, demonstrating a strong commitment to the well-being of the children.
In response, KEMX swiftly organized and installed a shade net, ensuring that the children can now play and learn in a safer and more comfortable environment. The project not only highlighted the company’s dedication to community support but also fostered a sense of collaboration among employees.
To celebrate the completion of the project, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held, attended by company representatives, preschool staff, and excited young students who now enjoy their outdoor activities without the worry of harsh sun exposure. This initiative reflects KEMX's broader mission to invest in the communities where it operates, making a lasting positive impact on the lives of the children and their families.
