The specialist for horizontal wet systems for the production of printed circuit boards, chemical milling and moulded etched parts, TSK Schill GmbH from Gäufelden-Nebringen, is installing new production systems at one of the leading manufacturers of precision metal parts.
Metaq GmbH, based in Wuppertal, is one of the new customers who rely on the competence and experience of TSK Schill for the comprehensive renewal of their etching technology systems.
In November 2024, a system was installed on schedule that will cover three of the four main production steps. From the preparation of the materials in thicknesses of 0.1 to 1 millimeter to the actual etching process and the post-processing of the parts, the individual modules of the system offer innovative technology and modern production processes.
The client's requirements were clearly defined: very good energy efficiency, a high degree of digitalization and automation, and continuous monitoring of the production process for optimal control of the manufacturing parameters. The TSK Schill team
GmbH has accepted this challenge and will continue to intensively accompany the process of commissioning the plant even after the successful preliminary acceptance.
Thomas Schill, Managing Director of TSK Schill GmbH, thanks Metaq GmbH for the trust it has placed in us and assures his customer Claudia Schemann, Managing Director of Metaq GmbH, of a continued constructive and cooperative cooperation.
Etching technology is a photochemical process for the dimensionally accurate production of metal moulded parts. The precision parts are manufactured with an accuracy of hundredths of a millimeter - without mechanical or thermal stress on the material. The result is burr- and stress-free parts that can be produced quickly and economically thanks to digital tools.
