Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited announced that it has received the Sustainability Disclosure Award 2024, marking its seventh consecutive year of recognition since 2017. Presented by the Thaipat Institute, this prestigious award highlights Delta’s outstanding efforts in sustainability disclosure and its commitment to achieving SDG Target 12.6, which emphasizes the integration of sustainable practices and transparent reporting into business operations.
Ms. Aonthip Aorthong, Delta’s Sustainable Development Manager, expressed her gratitude and commitment during the ceremony, saying, "Receiving the Sustainability Disclosure Award for the seventh consecutive year is a testament to Delta’s unwavering dedication to sustainability and transparency. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our team in driving impactful initiatives, such as carbon management and biodiversity conservation, while ensuring that our reporting aligns with global best practices. As we move forward, we remain committed to advancing our ESG performance and contributing to a sustainable future for all stakeholders."
This year, a total of 144 awards were granted across three categories: 58 Sustainability Disclosure Awards, 57 Sustainability Disclosure Recognitions, and 29 Sustainability Disclosure Acknowledgements. The evaluation criteria, based on the Ceres-ACCA framework, assessed organizations on the completeness (45%), credibility (35%), and communication and presentation (20%) of their sustainability disclosures. Delta’s consistent dedication to transparent reporting and integration of economic, social, and environmental considerations into its business practices placed Delta among the top 58 recipients of the Sustainability Disclosure Award.
Delta’s recognition is attributed to impactful initiatives such as its RE100 and SBTi commitments. These efforts are effectively driven by Delta’s industry leading internal carbon tax policy, which allocates funds to projects that deliver significant advancements in energy efficiency and environmental conservation. These efforts, combined with Delta’s inclusion in the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, underscore the company’s leadership in sustainable business practices. Representing Delta at the award ceremony on November 28, 2024, was Ms. Aonthip Aorthong, Delta’s Sustainable Development Manager.

Better Sustainability Policies for Electronics
10/29/2025 | Diana Radovan, Global Electronics AssociationI joined the Global Electronics Association in August 2025 as the director of sustainability policy. Since then, much has happened in terms of geopolitics and in the development and re-envisioning of sustainability policies in the industry. While the European Commission has released several legislative packages to simplify sustainability requirements (“omnibus”), these developments haven’t yet settled and are not in effect. Given the many recent and ongoing public consultations, with often conflicting input from a broad range of stakeholders, final negotiations remain rather polarized among policymakers.
