SEL Names New VP of Human Resources

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) has appointed Jacob Schlosser as the vice president of Human Resources. In this role, Schlosser will oversee all activities related to benefits, compensation, and hiring as well as environmental health and safety, learning and development, and university relations.
Schlosser began his career at SEL in 2004 as a Human Resources intern while a student at Washington State University. Over the next 12 years, he held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Human Resources division. In 2017, he transitioned into the Manufacturing division, where he took on leadership of the SEL manufacturing operation in Lewiston, Idaho, before assuming his most recent role as a senior manufacturing director.
“Jake’s extensive experience and dedication to SEL have been instrumental in our growth and success,” said Chief Business and Finance Officer Joey Nestegard. “His leadership in both our Human Resources and Manufacturing divisions has demonstrated his ability to drive innovation and foster a positive and productive work environment. We look forward to his continued contributions in this new role.”

Schlosser earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from Washington State University.
