According to feedback from industry companies, there is an urgent need for professionals with knowledge of IPC standards and practical skills in electronics. However, the reality is that most academic courses are disconnected from the actual needs of the industry, leading to disappointing results when companies recruit from universities and schools.

Global Semiconductor Sales Increase 17.9% Year-to-Year in January

The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) announced global semiconductor sales hit $56.5 billion during the month of January 2025, an increase of 17.9% compared to the January 2024 total of $47.9 billion and 1.7% less than the December 2024 total of $57.5 billion.
