KYZEN, the global leader in innovative environmentally friendly cleaning chemistries, will exhibit in Booth 642 at the upcoming IPC APEX EXPO 2025, scheduled for March 18-20, 2025 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Celebrating 35 years of innovation and continuous improvement, KYZEN will spotlight its industry-leading research and solutions designed to advance electronics manufacturing processes.
Advancing SMT Cleaning through Research
This year, KYZEN is proud to unveil revolutionary findings that challenge industry norms and redefine the future of SMT printing and cleaning. Debbie Carboni, KYZEN’s Senior Global Electronics Manager, will co-present alongside Edward Nauss and Michael Butler of ITW EAE/MPM and Rich Burke of KYZEN. Their collaborative paper, “Optimizing SMT Printing: The Impact of Contact Time and Fluid Dynamics on Yield Enhancement”, will be presented during the IPC APEX EXPO Technical Conference. The research explores how advanced solvent delivery systems and fine-tuned cleaning parameters can dramatically boost transfer efficiency, reduce defects, and enhance production yields.
The findings feature key aspects of under-stencil cleaning, including optimal solvent application, critical contact time, and fluid dynamics. It will provide actional strategies to reduce downtime, maximize yield, and improve overall printing performance, transforming the manufacturing process.
