Recognizing the IPC Committee Volunteer Awards in 2025
April 24, 2025 | Patty Goldman, I-Connect007Estimated reading time: 3 minutes
In 2023, IPC created two new awards to honor standards development committee volunteers: The Hillman-Lambert Award for Volunteer of the Year and the Kessler-Goldman Award for Committee Leader of the Year. The awards were named after Hall of Fame members whose service to standards development is well-known and who have demonstrated the skills and principles that the awardees should also have.
In 2024, two additional awards were created to honor training volunteers: the Moffitt-Ventress Training Committee Member of the Year Award, and the Raby-Scott Training Committee Leader of the Year Award. These two awards have been named after long-time volunteers involved with training.
The committee awards process was developed to allow the committee leaders and members to participate and to make the committee awards more significant to the awardees. Committee members and leaders make nominations by completing a nomination form and providing letters of support. Only those committee members and leaders who completed a project in the previous year are eligible.
This year’s awardees are:
