Leadership Development Continues at Incap Slovakia

Incap Slovakia has launched the first leadership development training of 2025 as part of its ongoing Team Leaders Academy programme. Now in its third year, the programme supports team leaders in developing essential skills in communication, people management, motivation, and personal growth.
This year’s initiative was shaped by insights from the latest employee satisfaction survey, which identified leadership development as an area for improvement. Based on this, ten participants were selected for the training programme.
The content is tailored to the needs of participants, informed by interviews and questionnaires involving team leaders, their peers, and managers. While the initial training session started with some hesitation, participants quickly became engaged in discussions and group activities. The session was supported by a visit from Managing Director Miroslav Michálik and Production Manager Richard Čiernik, who encouraged and supported the team’s development.
A key focus of the training was the relationship between KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KBIs (Key Behavioural Indicators). These will serve as the foundation for projects that participants will develop in pairs and present during a final workshop later this year. Each participant also created a personal action plan, identifying 2–3 leadership skills to apply in practice before the next coaching session in July.
At the end of the training, participants shared their reflections and feedback, highlighting the value of the experience and their motivation to continue learning. The Team Leaders Academy remains a cornerstone of leadership development at Incap Slovakia. The 2025 sessions aim to strengthen team culture and support continuous learning across the organisation.
