Hon Hai Education Foundation Continues to Promote Quantum Education
July 4, 2025 | FoxconnEstimated reading time: 1 minute

Hon Hai Education Foundation has long been committed to promoting forward-looking technology education in Taiwan's high schools, and held the "High School Quantum Teacher Training Camp" in Tainan City on July 1. This is the continued expansion of the teacher training camp to southern Taiwan after the successful promotion in Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung City and other places, and the implementation of the core concept of "Quantum Rooting, Education First".
Quantum technology is considered to be another key force leading the future after the AI craze. Whether it is information and communication security, new medical drugs, material manufacturing, financial risk control , etc. , various fields are expected to make rapid and substantial progress due to quantum technology. Therefore, advanced countries around the world have listed quantum technology as a national strategic priority and are accelerating the cultivation of a new generation of talents.
However, quantum science has always been considered a difficult subject, and is generally only encountered in college or even graduate school. However, the Hon Hai Education Foundation firmly believes that if the gap between industry and talent cultivation is to be shortened, it must be laid out in high school education so that students can understand the "language of the quantum world" in advance. However, whether quantum education can enter high school classrooms, professional training of teachers is particularly critical. Therefore, the Hon Hai Education Foundation specially organized a four-day teacher training camp to let teachers understand the concepts of quantum bits, quantum superposition, quantum entanglement, quantum computing, etc. , to cultivate teachers to establish teaching knowledge, so that teachers can lead high school students in school to contact the world of quantum technology and start exploration opportunities.
In addition, the Hon Hai Education Foundation has also published "Introduction to Quantum Technology" and the popular science comic "Quantum of Solace", gradually accumulating momentum for the promotion of quantum education. The Foundation hopes to use a variety of teaching materials and resources to allow quantum technology education to flourish on campus, thereby leading students into a quantum world that is both approachable and full of fun to explore.
