‘Create your Connections’ – Rehm at productronica 2025 in Munich
October 8, 2025 | Rehm Thermal SystemsEstimated reading time: 4 minutes

The electronics industry is undergoing dynamic transformation: smart production lines, sustainability, artificial intelligence, and sensor technologies dominate current discussions. At the same time, the demand for powerful and reliable interconnection technologies that enable resource-efficient and high-performance production continues to grow. Under the trade fair motto “Create your Connections,” Rehm Thermal Systems will present solutions at productronica 2025 that combine technological excellence with a strong spirit of partnership.
The motto “Create your Connections” reflects Rehm’s philosophy in several ways. It stands for the technological connections created through the company’s soldering, drying, and coating systems. It also empowers customers to realize their own creative ideas and develop innovative assemblies. Finally, it highlights the collaborative partnerships Rehm has built with its customers over many years. In addition to supplying equipment, the company supports the industry with in-depth process expertise and tailored solutions.
At the center of Rehm’s trade fair presentation is the VisionX series – the company’s powerful platform for energy-efficient and precise convection soldering. The new VisionXP+ and VisionXP+ VAC set new benchmarks in energy savings, process stability, and sustainability. With integrated EC fan motors, optimized gas flow, and the intelligent software solution ProMetrics, temperature profiles are precisely maintained while resources are used efficiently. A distinctive feature of the VisionXP+ is its patented mechatronic curtain at the inlet and outlet, which reduces nitrogen consumption by up to 20%. The VAC variant also offers the option of formic acid soldering via an integrated vacuum chamber, enabling fluxless, void-free, and exceptionally clean solder joints. The series is complemented by the VisionXC, which fits into any production environment thanks to its compact design and smart features. A new AR showcase at the booth demonstrates the optimized gas flow and allows visitors to experience the process innovations of the VisionX series interactively.
With the CondensoX-Line FA, Rehm demonstrates the advantages of resource-saving vapor phase soldering. Equipped with a closed-loop system, the Galden® medium used is almost completely recovered, reducing operating costs and conserving resources. The combination with formic acid technology enables fluxless and void-free solder joints – particularly important for power electronics applications. A special highlight: the CondensoX-Line with formic acid has been submitted for the renowned productronica Innovation Award 2025 – another testament to Rehm Thermal Systems’ innovation and leadership.
The Nexus contact soldering system sets new standards in advanced packaging and power electronics. It guarantees void-free results through reflow processes using contact heat under vacuum and is ideal for soldering demanding components such as IGBTs on DCB substrates. The integrated bubbler system, which uses formic acid as an activation medium, ensures optimal wetting and clean solder joints. With process temperatures up to 400 °C (optional 450 °C) and the largest working area on the market, the Nexus meets the highest demands for flexibility and cost efficiency.
Rehm is also showcasing innovations in coating and dispensing. The Protecto XP and ProtectoXC systems combine maximum process reliability with user-friendly operation. An integrated height sensor with Z-axis adjustment automatically compensates for uneven surfaces on assemblies, ensuring reliable results even for complex geometries. Thanks to the intuitive ViCON software, programs can be created quickly and efficiently, with 2D programming automatically converted into 3D. This enables even the most demanding coating and dispensing tasks to be carried out precisely and seamlessly integrated into modern production lines.
Another highlight is the new Hurricane valve, which combines jetting, dispensing, and spraying for maximum flexibility. It begins coating where the curtain applicator ends: while the curtain system reaches its limit at around 100 mPas, the Hurricane valve enables spraying of viscosities between 500 and 3500 mPas – ideal for fast and even coating of large surfaces. The valve combines the advantages of the multi-mode system and, like the Rehm Vario Jet Prime, can selectively apply individual dots in jet mode at up to 250 dots per second. Without retooling, it can switch to a fully functional spray mode that provides a precise coating image without overspray. This enables short cycle times, efficient coating of large areas, and precise selective structures – perfectly suited for flexible production requirements.
In addition, Rehm is presenting the newly developed RDS UV LED – a system designed for efficient and process-safe curing of materials. With its minimal footprint, the system allows short cycle times and high throughput. The combination of compact design, energy efficiency, and process reliability makes the RDS UV LED an ideal system for modern production environments.
Beyond individual systems, Rehm will present itself at productronica as a provider of complete line solutions. It’s no longer just about the machine itself, but about the intelligent networking of all systems and their seamless integration into higher-level MES structures. With standardized interfaces such as Hermes and CFX, Rehm ensures that its equipment can be easily integrated into Smart Factory concepts. The result is holistic solutions that deliver maximum process reliability and sustainably increase efficiency in electronics manufacturing. Rehm offers complete production lines from a single source – from initial concept to on-site installation.
Visitors to productronica are warmly invited to experience Rehm Thermal Systems’ latest technologies live from November 18 to 21, 2025, in Hall A4, Booth 335, to be inspired by innovative showcases, and to discuss customized production solutions directly with the company’s experts.
