Surface Mount Technology Corp. (SMT) has announced that its quality management system (QMS) has been thoroughly audited and now has the proper certification to manufacture high-end medical devices.
Many countries and markets look to ISO 13485 as a common standard for any manufacturing in the medical field. This new certification also strengthens SMT's quality systems and procedures to provide higher quality products for all of its customers. In addition to building highly reliable medical products, SMT is becoming a leader in the IoT space as well as 2D and 3D touch panel solutions.
