Viking Test has recently moved their operations to a new factory in Petersfield, UK. With the increased sales of wet process and plating equipment, it was necessary to increase their service team and associated tools, as well as stock levels, spare part and ancillary support equipment.
The completed move to Peterfield gives the company 22,000 sq ft of factory space that will now serve as their world headquarters. Along with their offices in China, Austria and new build factory in India, Viking now employs a team of 20 across 3 continents.
In other news, Viking recently completed the successful installation of a complete wet process and plating shop for a U.S. based customer. The installation took 8 weeks to complete and included over 20 pieces of equipment.
Viking India continues to grow and has been awarded the contract to supply complete automation to a large Indian PCB manufacturer that will includes over 60 loaders/unloaders.
