Matrix Electronics, a leading North American quick-turn supplier for raw materials to the printed circuit market, announced that they have completed an expansion of their inventory of Flex Circuit Materials to support the growing flex and rigid?flex circuit business.
Matrix continues to support the growth of the Panasonic Felios and the Matrix Plus Flexible Circuit Materials in North America with increased stock of over 250 part numbers in 5 strategically located warehouses in the US and Canada. Inventory includes cut panels and rolls that can support customer panel sizes and extra?long flex circuit designs. Matrix’s newly expanded flex material conversion center in Santa Ana, CA is shipping most customer orders for flex materials within 1?3 days.
Bob Berg, Vice President of Business Development adds, “The flex circuit market continues to grow and has been on fire globally this past year and is expected to continue into 2022 and beyond. This has stressed the raw material supply chain. That fact plus disruptions in global logistics due to Covid has caused a lot of stress with our customers and the key OEM segments in our market. Panasonic’s strong supplier relationships and commitment to the flex materials business plus Matrix commitment to keep a full inventory supply pipeline has allowed us to insulate our flex customers from most of these issues. We are committed to continue to support our customers’ requirements and growth.”
