Siemens Dematic EAS Americas Appoints New President

Lauber has been with Siemens for 16 years, recently serving as the Siemens Dematic EA general manager of the Regional Headquarters Europe. Lauber started with Siemens in 1986 as the sales manager for Production Control Systems in Munich. He was responsible for the Siemens Logistics Systems in the USA from October 1994 to August 1997 in Auburn Hills, Mich. From August of 1997 to January of 2001 he served as European sales manager of Siemens Dematic EAS.
Middlefield, Conn. -- Zygo Corp. has received a contract award for 192 vacuum relay telescopes from the University of California-managed Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL).
