JoAnn has worked closely with Tanya over the past 18 months to ensure that she is informed and knowledgeable on all SMTA programs and activities for a smooth transition.
Tanya Martin joined the SMTA staff in 2014. Regarding her succession, Tanya stated, “Over the past 18 months, I have had the privilege of working alongside JoAnn Stromberg to prepare and train for a smooth transition. I am highly confident in our ability to continue to be an extremely inclusive organization that delivers strong educational programing as well as provide local support through our Chapters and numerous Committees. I am honored to assume this leadership role in January and look forward to the opportunity to continue shaping the great legacy of SMTA.”
